After graduating in Commerce from Delhi University, Mr. Kumar joined the Indian Army and left his services early due to personal reasons. DSS Group had a very modest beginning as he conceptualised a business to strengthen the security apparatus for various corporate and individuals. Hence Detective & Security Services came into existence in 1984 in Hauz Khas. After years of toiling, he converted his company into a limited firm and DSS Securitech Pvt. Ltd. the ISO 9001:2008 certified company came into prominence in 1998.

Currently, the company is giving its services to about 500 corporate clients with a highly efficient workforce of 7000 employees. With about three decades of experience in the security industry, Mr. Lohia is planning to take the business to newer heights. The company is planning to embark on a major expansion drive by offering high quality services in more than 15 major cities in India with a targeted workforce of more than 25000 employees and 1500 clients by 2018.
